Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Responsibilities:

  • To have clear understanding of the mechanical systems related to Facilities Equipment within the Plant.
  • To have working knowledge of the controls and mechanical systems related to Facilities within all Base Business locations.
  • 支持的DTAP目标standardization and rigorous change control.
  • To support and provide standard equipment lists for Division DTAP Facilities equipment management.
  • To support the development and maintenance of thorough design documentation based on design standards and department procedures.
  • To assist with the leadership of field support teams during the installation and checkout of new technology and designs.
  • To ensure the inclusion of new designs into rebuild and new construction Appropriation Requests.
  • To appropriate and manage necessary Mechanical Contractor resources to support DTAP objectives.
  • To ensure Mechanical drawings are archived properly within the Division Facilities Drawing Maintenance system.
  • To provide constructive support during the development of Emergency Response Drills.
  • To assist in the development of DTAP Training materials and provide ILT.

Education & Experience:

  • BS above (include) degree and major in engineering – Mechanical.

  • 2 – 5 Years Manufacturing Systems.

  • Familiar with CAD and mechanical drawing.
