Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Lead/participate in division-wide operation programs as a finance expert, provide analysis, insights, and recommendation timely
• Partner with Project Management Office, Strategy Team, Supply Chain, Engineering, Expansion team, etc., to support decision making and financial planning
• Maintain historical manufacturing cost database and provide analysis to related parties
• Provide various analysis on specific business
• Co-work with other finance functions including Corporate/Division finance and entity/plant controllers on budgeting and 5-yr planning process to ensure alignment with division strategy

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/Accounting / master’s degree preferred
• 8+ years working experience in analytical finance, manufacturing finance / audit firm experiences preferred

Required Skills

• Knowledge and good understanding of basic finance and accounting concepts
• Ability to perform financial analyses such as variance analysis and financial justification for investment
• High efficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to perform analysis based on logical thinking skills
• Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills
• Resilience to work under pressure and work independently
• Ability to get insights from business and functional leaders
• Knowledge and/or experience in programming or tech skills such as Python, VBA, PowerBI is a plus
