Purpose of New Position To support operations readiness and start-up initiatives at Trivium Cable Plant to achieve safety goals, on-time start, and delivery targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Continuous attention to safety; Create a safe working culture & environment
  • Assist project teams with identifying tools and supplies needed by operations to run the new cable lines
  • Interface with project teams to identify and resolve gaps in operations readiness for the new production lines
  • Establish the 5S layout on the production floor
  • Ensure workstations are set up properly on new production lines
  • Provide documentation support to ensure all SOP’s are available for production
  • Support HR and lead trainers in coordination of training plans

Work Hours & Expectations

  • Typical work schedule is 40 hours Monday through Friday, dayshift
  • Work may require limited overtime and support on each shift
  • Work schedules will be jointly agreed upon by the employee and Ops Readiness Lead
  • Information sharing with HCP, NCP, and WCP is expected (occasional travel)

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
  • 1+ years in cable manufacturing
  • Must not be in progressive discipline process

  • Proficiency with standard computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook); Experience in other areas a plus (PowerPoint, MS Access)
