The purpose of this position is: Ensure overall warehouse functions are met, including but not limited to, loading and unloading, order picking and processing, material movement, driving heavy equipment, and ensuring proper inventory levels are maintained throughout the warehouse.

This position includes significant duties such as:

• Ensures that transactions are properly recorded in required systems (Peoplesoft, handheld scanner, FedEx, UPS, etc.)

• Operates powered industry vehicles such as Forklifts, Man-up Order Selectors and Floor Scrubbers) in a safe manner

• Provides accurate receipt of inbound materials (raw, WIP, and finished materials)

• Ensures receipts and documents are accurate and received as ordered

• Seeks corrective action when inaccuracy and/or damage occurs

• Sorts and stores temperature controlled products in refrigerated or freezer locations

• Sorts and places material on racks, shelves or bins according to material characteristics such as size, type, style, product code

• Follows production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, staged or distributed

• Provides accurate and responsive material stocking, inventory management, and distribution of materials

• Performs cycle counts and other audits as required

• Maintains a clean, safe and productive work environment in compliance with company SOPs using safety first practices

Working Conditions: Works in warehouse and cold room storage areas; fast paced and time sensitive environment. Regularly required to stand through entire shift. Bending, walking, stooping, standing, climbing and frequently lifting up to 50 lbs required.

Education: High school diploma or GED required

Experience: 3-12 months warehouse experience. Forklift experience required. Familiarity with ERP systems.
