Finance Analyst

Our Finance Analyst is responsible for performing analysis required to report financial results and projections to business and financial leadership, including identifying and developing appropriate processes and models to perform analysis as required.

As a Finance Analyst, you will:

  • Interact with business partners to receive and provide information, including supporting cross-functional projects and coordinating key communication activities as required
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help drive process improvement efforts
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis related to capital projects, strategic investments, cost drivers, cost reduction, and other initiatives as required
  • Provide support and guidance for the submission and reporting of month-end close, forecasts, annual budget, and long-range plans
  • Perform accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements
  • Participate in audit procedure and risk assessments, including tracking, monitoring, and developing reports to communicate results and recommendations

Key capabilities for this role include:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to collaborate and work effectively across the organization
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, process-oriented and organized, solid understanding of GAAP
  • Comfortable testing supplied inputs and questioning existing processes, problem-solving and strategic thinking to dig deeper and develop logical solutions
  • Flexibility, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to monitor, maintain, and improve systems to support continuous improvement to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent technical degree required
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Excel / PowerPoint, general ledger systems, forecasting tools
  • PeopleSoft, SAP, Khalix, and Performance Excellence knowledge (Sig Sigma, lean processes) preferred
