The Specialty Materials segment manufactures products that provide more than 150 material formulations for glass, glass ceramics and fluoride crystals to meet demand for unique customer needs. Consequently, this segment operates in a wide variety of commercial and industrial markets that include display optics and components, semiconductor optics components, aerospace and defense, astronomy, ophthalmic products, telecommunications components and cover glass that is optimized for portable display devices.The Specialty Materials segment has a key need for an基础设施经理校方的作用,它的发展NY manufacturing facilities/campus.

Scope of Role:

The Infrastructure Manager is responsible oversight, strategy development, and execution of the EH&S, Maintenance, Facility Engineering, Information Technology, and Security departments across Corning Fairport’s manufacturing campus. Through direct, or dotted line oversight, this individual will represent these functions at a campus staff level, oversee projects and initiatives across the campus, and ensure proper resourcing and project management of functions campus wide ensuring execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing, and productivity with the highest levels of quality, safety, and environmental requirements.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe campus environment, while protecting the environment and leading sustainability initiatives

• Establish priorities, across the campus for the maintenance , IT, EH&S, and security functions. Working closely with Plant Engineering Manager, Plant Operations Manager, and the leadership team to ensure the effective utilization of available resources.

• Lead activities related to facility and production maintenance across the manufacturing campus

• Ensure high levels of reliability for campus services, e.g. power, water, broadband connectivity

• Advance safety, security, and maintenance systems campus wide

• Develop strategies for preventative and predictive maintenance

• Prioritize and drive a portfolio of infrastructure projects

• Interface with service providers and municipalities regarding projects, expansions, regulator requirements, etc.

• Manage contractor activity across campus maximizing efficiency and capital spending

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field required. MBA a plus.

• Maintenance experience a plus

• Project Management certifications a plus

• Have an aptitude to learn and incorporate new technologies

• Ability to identify issues and make corrective measures to resolve

• Experience leading and developing a team and building and sustaining a positive site culture
