BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

Support a wide array of quality department tasks relating to developing and implement systems, procedures, and projects required to successfully accomplish departmental, plant, and corporate goals and objectives. Makes decisions based upon sound quality, engineering and scientific methods.

Description of Work:

• Assist in development of measurement systems that support quality manufacturing philosophy.

• Draft and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Analyze quality metrics, identify opportunities and risks, develop plans for mitigation of risks and implement necessary changes to ensure sustainment of quality management systems.

• Supports document management and storage control, ensuring Records management audit readiness.

• Support internal, customer, and external audits as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Currently enrolled in and completed at least 2 years in a 4 year degree or master’s program. Disciplines considered (Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Other Natural Sciences, or English).
