The purpose of the Division Government Contract Compliance Managerrole:

Lead efforts to ensure that division operations are conducted in compliance with Department of Defense regulatory and legal requirements, in addition to company policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) and related sections of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) so that the division can continue to do business with government customers. Manage Department of Defense financial and regulatory reporting, as well as oversight of contract compliance as required by contract terms.

Location: This position can be located in either Corning, NY, Canton, NY, or Keene, NH. Occasional travel between sites as required.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Work with leadership to establish, maintain, and update division policies and procedures for compliance with CAS and FAR/DFARS requirements.
  • 米aintain working relationships with Governmental and prime contractor auditors and reviewers, responding timely to requests for information.
  • 米anage analytical efforts related to government projects including overseeing financial analysis for project status and completion estimates.
  • Support and Work with Corporate Finance Government Contract Center of Excellence to Identify and execute plans to mitigate government contract compliance risks, including those that cross multiple functions such as technical accounting, legal, human resources and information technology.
  • Support and Work with Corporate Finance Government Contract Center of Excellence to present information to all levels of management, including making recommendations to improve process, compliance and project results.
  • Provide close direction, oversight of work performed and desired results; Selecting staff and managing employee performance and development.

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field required
  • Prior experience as a DCAA auditor, DCMA cost/price analyst, or Federal contracting officer at GS-12 or equivalent grade;
  • Alternate experience: 7+ years prior experience working directly with DCMA or DCMA at a Federal contractor or 5+ years prior experience at a public firm specializing in government contracting advisory services.
  • Subject matter expertise in FAR and DFARS regulatory requirements, including CAS and TINA
