Role Purpose:

• Partners with Division Capital Portfolio Manager to optimize capital spend to achieve ROIC targets for AGS
• Actively engages in prioritization decisions to manage capital budgets
• Works with engineering and manufacturing leaders on AGS expansion strategy
• Ensure compliance for all AGS capital projects with local regulations, US GAAP and Corning policies and procedures
• Ensure required capital reporting, forecasting, budget, and 5YP is completed accurately and on a timely basis
• Provide capital analysis for division management
• Support business leadership team with financial analysis required for investment proposals and/or appropriation requests
• Standardize financial analysis/justification for capital spend across AGS division
• Ensure Capricorn processes are implemented and followed for AGS

Key Responsibilities:

• Implements and standardizes procedures of capital management and ensures the procedures are followed by business teams (e.g. engineering, manufacturing ,GSM, and finance)
• Ensures internal control compliance for all AGS capital requests, tracking, capitalizations and retirements
• Designs and executes finance processes required to manage capital spending and AGS’s PPE (e.g. closing, reporting, forecasting, variance analysis & review, capitalization, CIP monitoring, etc.)
• Provides finance expertise to support business leaders to achieve short- and long-term strategic objectives, including:
  • Assessing the financial implications (e.g. payback, ROIC, etc.) of capital request proposals within the business. Recommends appropriate actions to maximize investment returns
  • Monitoring budget and forecast variances for the business and provides business leadership with insights on minimizing variances
  • Working closely with capacity planning, manufacturing, capital portfolio teams to lay out budget and 5YP capital strategy
• Works with Planview SME’s to ensures AGS Planview is properly maintained and updated to reflect latest thinking of the capital financial outlay for the business.

Education & Experience Required:

• 科学学士或同等技术程度
• Project control experience (within or outside of Corning)
• Prior APC or equivalent manufacturing finance experience
• 5-7 years of relevant experience

Desired:

• CPA
• MBA
• Capricorn experience (Stage gate, Planview, etc.)

Required Skills:

• GAAP and cost accounting
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to be comfortable interacting and communicating with all aspects of the business, including plant staff and senior managers.
• Sound cross functional skills
• Ability to act under pressure in fast-paced environment
• Good analytical skills, presentation skills and problem solving capability
• Strong working knowledge of SAP/PeopleSoft/Khalix/Planview
• Strong knowledge of Statistical accounts
