Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Maintain power, CDA, water treatment;

• To implement PM activities and achieve PM performance.

• To collect machine breakdown information, analysis and improvement.

• Breakdown machine recovery.

• Follow Policy, SOS, PCPD, Patrol request.

• Increasing techniques to reduce the breakdown possibility

• Document preparation

• To assist section Manager and operation supervisor for work execution

• Safety / 5S Audit improvement.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or above with the major in electrical or mechanical engineering.

Required Skills

• Water treatment experience, like DI water;

• High voltage power experience;

• CDA maintenance skills;

• Knowledge: Good at problem analysis and logical thinking and decision making.

• Computer: Excel. Word, AutoCAD, power point.

• Basic skill: Multi-meter, Amp- meter using, equipment repair, motor repair.

• Good communication, presentation and report skills;

• Good English;

Desired Skills

• Good AB PLC skills;

• iFIX SCADA experience;
