Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

•Equipment down time analysis and improvement.

•Daily troubleshooting and improvement to maximize equipment up-time.

•Perform the weekly and quarterly preventive maintenance system within the prescribed guidelines and maintain appropriate records.

•Develops and maintains records for equipment down time and parts replacement.

•Schedule and execute the weekly and quarterly PM.

•Perform spare parts management and in-coming quality control work

•Support & initiate shop floor equipment & tools improvement

•Develops initiates and monitors departmental SOP’S, ISO and TPM-5S system for department.

•Assist shop floor’s routine jobs.

Education & Experience

College degree in Mechanical or Electrical related engineering

Required Skills

• Equipment installation and maintenance experience
• Experience in Robot Application (Fanuc robot experience is best)
• Knowledge of pneumatics, PLC, PC control,
• Adjust and install skill for THK LM guide and ball screw.
• Maintenance experience of big automated equipment line
• Servo Motor, inverter maintenance and replacement;
• Background in automotive engineering and high voltage systems preferred
• Data acquisitions systems and sensors for monitoring temperature, force, voltage, current, etc
• Pneumatic system maintenance experience, like air cylinder;
• LOTO understanding/practice and execution
• Familiar with electrical control component application, such like Inverter, Servo Motor, Sensor, signal translator, etc.
• 低压or高压电工本is plus

Desired Skills

• LOTO understanding/practice and execution
• Familiar with Mitsubishi PLC (Q-series CPU), HMI (GOT series) application.
• Pneumatic system maintenance experience, like air cylinder
• Familiar with equipment control system maintenance.
• Skill in Excel, Office, power point, database.
